ITEM 8: Splash Pad Improvements Staff received cost estimates for improving the splash pad.  Staff will work with the lowest bidder to correct the drainage through  the installation of additional concrete benches that will prevent water from running over the edge of the cool deck, causing bedding material to run onto the cool deck. This solution will also provide additional seating for a splash pad area. Water will be routed into the drains and off the surrounding landscaping.
