The City of Shenandoah is beginning a number of projects in 2023 that will bring changes to all areas of the city.  In order to help you plan travel needs,  as well as keep you informed on the progress, the website will now feature "Construction Zone."

Pinecroft Lift Station Rehabilitation and Force Main Upsize

The rehabilitation consists of bypass pumping, upsizing the submerged and aboveground piping, the replacement of valves, pump, pipe supports and other miscellaneous items inside the wet well. The force main upsize consists of the abandonment of the existing 4’’ force main and the installation of approximately 2,000 linear feet of 8’’ C900 force main along Pinecroft. The Pinecroft Lift Station handles the sewage from businesses along Pinecroft Dr including the Memorial Herman Hospital. The lift station has been in service since the 90s, this rehab will prolong the usage of the lift station for many years.
