Municipal Development District (MDD) February 22, 2023 Update

Attendance:  

Present:   President Byron Bevers (Place 4),  Ron Raymaker,  (Place 1),   Dr. Jim Wallace (Place 2), Ted Fletcher (Place 5) and Joanna Gonzalez (Place 3) 


ITEM 4: Monthly Cash Flow Report - As requested by MDD, staff has created a visual for a 5-year cash flow projection for the MDD as well as a monthly cash flow report for future agendas.  Discussion only. 

 ITEM 5: Monthly MDD Report- No action required; report only.   


ITEM 6: Election of MDD Officers -Per the MDD bylaws, officers on the MDD Board must be elected annually.    Since the last election, David Hoover resigned and James Wallace was appointed to serve. The officers need to be updated to reflect the current Board.    Newly elected officers are Byron Bevers, President; Ron Raymaker, Vice President and Joanna Gonzalez, Secretary. MDD voted 5-0 to approve the new slate of officers. 

ITEM 7: MDD Capital Improvement Plan - The last MDD capital improvement plan was approved at the July 27 meeting. Since that time, there have been changes The anticipated yearly cash flows have also been updated with current figures. The CIP is a living document that will be updated to meet the needs of the city. It provides flexibility for the MDD Board and the City Council to make timeline changes and for staff to be proactive with project creation and cost changes. Staff will add the updated CIP to the City’s website to have the most current capital improvement plan document once it is accepted by the MDD Board.  MDD voted 5-0 to approve the CIP Project Plan with changes.

ITEM  8: Ratification of the January Accounts Payable- MDD voted 5-0 to approve the accounts payable.
