Municipal Election 2023 Candidate Information

Candidate Applications and Information


The May 6, 2023, General Election will be held at Shenandoah Municipal Complex (City Hall), located at 29955 Interstate 45 N. Filing for a place on the ballot is set by state statute and will run from January 18 to February 17, 2023.  Information and forms necessary to run for office are available at Elections.


Positions 2, 3 and 4 are up for election in the May 6 General Election. Current incumbents are: Position 2, Ted Fletcher Position 3, Jim Pollard; and Position 4, Charlie Bradt.



Election Voting Information


Early voting will be held April 24-29 from 8 am -5 pm and May 1-2 from 7 am - 7 pm.   TheCity of Shenandoah will NOT be an early voting site but will be an Election Day site for Precinct 31. A link to the Montgomery County Election site will be added when it becomes available.
