Significant Activity and Calls for Service for November 6-12

Arrests

Theft – 19100 block of IH-45 – Two suspects committed a theft at a local retail store and were arrested.  

Warrant Service / Interfering with Public Duties – 8700 block of Shenandoah Park – Officers were dispatched to a disturbance call.  During the investigation one suspect interferred with the investigation.  The same suspect had open arrest warrants and was arrested.  

Burglary / Evading – 9200 block of Pinecroft – Suspects committed a burglary of a vehicle.  The victim provided a good suspect vehicle description and the suspect vehicle was located.  Suspects fled, first in the vehicle and later foot.  All three suspects were taken into custody.  

Assist Other Agency – 17200 block of IH-45 – Suspects committed a theft, and the suspect vehicle description was aired via police radio.  SHPD units located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a stop, but the vehicle fled.  After a short pursuit, a suspect was arrested and released to MCSO which was the agency of jurisdiction of the original theft call.  

Stolen Vehicle Recovery / Warrant Arrest – IH-45 - Units observed a vehicle reported stolen out of Harris County.  A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and open arrest warrants.  

Narcotics – 17900 block of IH-45 – A traffic stop and subsequent investigation led t the arrest of a suspect for possession of Oxycodone and Marijuana.

Narcotics – 17900 block of IH-45 – A traffic stop and subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a suspect for possession of MDMA.

Property Offenses (without arrests)

Catalytic Converter Theft – 9100 block of Pinecroft – Unknown suspect(s) stole a catalytic converter from a Toyota Tundra.

Attempted Catalytic Converter Theft – 9200 block of Pinecroft – Unknown suspect(s) stole a catalytic converter from a Toyota Tundra.

Criminal Mischief – 1000 block of Wellman – Unknown suspect damaged the side view mirror of the victim’s vehicle.  

Catalytic Converter Theft – 9200 block of Pinecroft – Unknown suspect(s) stole a catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia.

Hit and Run Accident – 9300 block of Pinecroft – A parked and unoccupied vehicle was struck by an unknown suspect who did not leave any information as required by law.

Recovery of Stolen Vehicle – Officers located a stolen vehicle that was being driven by the registered owner.  Vehicle recovery completed.

Missing Person / Runaway – 29800 block of IH-45 – Juvenile ran away and was later located, safe.  

Recovery of Stolen Vehicle – 17000 block of IH-45- Officers located a stolen vehicle that was being driven by the registered owner.  Vehicle recovery completed.
