Significant Activity and Calls for Service for October 30- November 5

Arrests

Narcotics – 1000 block of Research Forest – A traffic stop and subsequent offense led to the arrest of a suspect for possession of marijuana and ecstasy.  

Assist Other Agency – 19100 block of IH-45 – An attempt to locate was aired for catalytic converter theft suspects out of Conroe.  SHPD officers assisted in locating and pursuing the suspect's vehicle.  The suspect vehicle stopped, near IH-45 and Timberloch, and two suspects were arrested. 

Narcotics – 8000 block of S.H. 242 – A traffic stop and subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a suspect for possession of methamphetamine.

Unauthorized use of Motor Vehicle / Unlawful Carry of a Weapon / Warrant Arrest / Recovery of Stolen Vehicle – 29000 block of IH-45 – Patrol observed a vehicle that was reported stolen in a robbery out of Dallas.  A traffic stop was initiated.  The driver and sole occupant was arrested and a firearm was recovered.  Detectives are currently assisting Dallas PD with their investigation.

Unauthorized use of Motor Vehicle / Warrant Arrest / Recovery of Stolen Vehicle – 28000 block of IH-45 – A traffic stop and subsequent investigation led to identifying the violator vehicle as a reported stolen vehicle.  The driver was arrested for UUMV and an active arrest warrant for felony theft out of Chambers County.  

Property Offenses (without arrests)

Theft – 19000 block of IH-45 – Unknown suspect stole a pair of Apple Air Pods.

Attempted Theft – 9000 block of Pinecroft – Unknown suspect(s) attempted to steal a Dodge Charger.

Theft – 29000 block of IH-45 – Unknown suspect stole a TV from a local hotel room.

Harassment – Residential – Known suspect was harassing the complainant.  The suspect was advised about harassment and a report was generated.
