Municipal Development District(MDD) October 26, 2022 Update

Attendance:  

Present:    President Byron Bevers (Place 4),  Ron Raymaker (Place 1) and  Dr. Jim Wallace (Place 2), Absent:  Ted Fletcher (Place 5) and Joanna Gonzalez (Place 3)  


ITEM 4:  Update on the Entrance Signs - Public Works Director Joseph Peart reported that the quote for the sign design had come in lower than the budgeted $30,000.  No action required; report only.

ITEM 5:  Update on the Vision Park Excavation Project -  Peart reported that the project is on track to come in well under the budgeted amount due to a lower bid of the Sterling Site Services and shared costs on the dirt transportation with the Sam Moon Company.  No action required; report only.

ITEM 6: Update Check Signing for Bank and TexPool-  With the appointment of Dr. Jim Wallace to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of David Hoover, the signatories on the bank and TexPool accounts must be updated.  Council voted 3-0 to approve the removal of Hoover and the addition of Wallace as signatories to the bank and TexPool accounts. 

 ITEM 7:  November and December Meeting Dates- Due to the holidays, the regular MDD meetings in November and December cannot be held. Council changed their meetings to  November 16 and December 14. The MDD Board can select those same dates, or select other dates as preferred.  MDD voted 3-0 to meet on November 16 and December 14 as needed.

 ITEM 8:  Approval of June 25, July 22  and August 27, 2022 Minutes -  MDD voted 3-0 to approve the minutes.  

ITEM 9: Ratification of the August and September Accounts Payable-   MDD voted 3-0 to ratify the accounts payable
