Significant Activity and Calls for Service for April 17-23

Arrests
Driving While Intoxicated – 1900 block of Research Forest – Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in progress and learned that one of the involved parties left in a vehicle. The vehicle was stopped, and a subsequent investigation led to the driver being arrested for DWI.
Narcotics – 19000 block of IH-45 - A suspicious vehicle was observed in the parking lot of a retail business. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of two suspects for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
Driving While Intoxicated / Narcotics – 18000 block of IH-45 – Officers conducted a welfare check on the occupants of an apparently disabled vehicle. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a suspect for DWI and possession of cocaine.
Narcotics / Warrant Service – 19100 block of IH-45 – Officers located a wanted person and detained them. Further investigation led to the discovery of THC oil and additional charges were added.
Theft / Recovery of Stolen Vehicle – 19100 block of IH-45 – Officers were dispatched to a theft in progress. One suspect was arrested on theft charges and a vehicle, reported stolen out of Harris County, was recovered.
Driving While Intoxicated – 17900 block of IH-45 – A traffic stop and subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a suspect for DWI.
Assault – 29000 block of IH-45 – A suspect was arrested for felony assault after assaulting his girlfriend at a local motel. (FV).
Unlawful Carry of a Firearm – 19400 block of IH-45 – A suspect was arrested for assault (FV) by contact and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Property Offenses (without arrests)
Criminal Mischief / Attempted Auto Theft – 900 block of Medical Plaza – Unknown suspects attempted to steal a 2022 Dodge Charger and damaged the vehicle in the process.
Catalytic Converter Theft – 29800 block of IH-45 – Unknown suspect stole a catalytic converter off a 2020 Toyota Sequoia.
Catalytic Converter Theft – 9200 block of Pinecroft – Unknown suspect stole a catalytic converter off a 2020 Toyota Tundra.

Criminal Mischief – 8800 block of Six Pines – An identified suspect cut a cable at a local gas station, and was detained. The suspect was later transported to a local hospital.
Criminal Mischief – 1400 block of Research Forest – The same suspect from above cut a copper cable at an AT&T fiber box.
