Arrests
Theft / Counterfeiting – 19189 IH-45 – Officers were notified of a fraud related to a suspect passing a forged $100 bill. The suspects were located and stopped. Subsequent investigation led to the discovery of 6 cases of the suspects passing counterfeit $100 bills. Three suspects were arrested and a large quantity of cash was seized.
Fail to ID Fugitive – Residential – A traffic stop and subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a suspect for failure to ID and an active warrant out of Louisiana.
Assist Other Agency – 300 block of Pruitt – Officers assisted a lone MCSO unit in a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit terminated on Pruitt where suspects fled on foot. One suspect was captured and turned over to MCSO.
Property Offenses (without arrests)
Criminal Mischief – 19000 block of IH-45 – Unknown suspect attempted to steal a 2002 Chevrolet pickup and damaged the steering column in the process.
Theft – 19000 block of IH-45 – Unknown person stole a purse, which was left unattended in a local retail store.
Theft / Fraud – 19200 block of IH-45 – An unknown suspect tricked a cashier, in a local retail store, into adding funds to a gift card.

Fictitious License Plate Recovery – Residential – A traffic stop and subsequent investigation led to the recovery of a fictitious license plate.
