Municipal Development District (MDD) Update October 27, 2021

Attendance:  Present:    President Byron Bevers (Place 4)David Hoover (Place 2), Joanna Gonzalez (Place 3), Ted Fletcher (Place 5) and Ron Raymaker (Place 1)  

ITEM 4:  Monthly Cash Flow Report-   As requested by MDD, staff has created a visual for a 5-year cash flow projection for the MDD as well as a monthly cash flow report for future agendas.  The projection takes into consideration:  2019-2020 modified revenue projection from COVID, eligible projects per the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)   and allocated projects that are expected to start construction and complete in 2020-2021.  Discussion only.

ITEM 5: Reappointment of MDD Board Members- By ordinance, the presiding officer of the MDD Board shall appoint persons to fill any vacancy and the appointment shall not become effective unless and until the appointment is approved by City Council. Ron Raymaker(Place 1). David Hoover (Place 2) and Ted Fletcher, Place 3   are eligible and willing to continue serving.   President Bevers reappointed the three members to another term.

ITEM 6:  November and December Meeting Dates-  Due to the holidays, the regular MDD meetings in November and December cannot be held. MDD Board can set their meetings on the same night that Council will hold their meetings or they can choose a different date. MDD voted 5-0 to meet November 17 and December 15 if needed. 

ITEM 7:  Additional Funding for Holly Hill Park - Staff recommended approving$125,000 in additional funding to construct the park and add additional trees and vegetation. MDD voted 5-0 to approve an additional $200,000 and asked staff to bring back itemized details of the expenditure.

ITEM 8:  Ratification of August and September  Accounts Payable- MDD voted 5-0 to ratify the accounts payable.
