ITEM 1: Monthly Cash Flow Report- As requested by MDD, staff has created a visual for a 5-year cash flow projection for the MDD as well as a monthly cash flow report for future agendas. The projection takes into consideration: 2019-2020 modified revenue projection from COVID, eligible projects per the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and allocated projects that are expected to start construction and complete in 2020-2021. Discussion only.
ITEM 2: MDD Monthly Report- No action needed.
ITEM 3: Holly Hill Park - At the April 28 MDD meeting, the board requested city staff to add a budget amendment to fund $250,000 for the construction of a park located at the north cul-de-sac on Holly Hill. A conceptual walking trail-styled park design has been completed by Landology for the 4.5 acre site. The cost estimate was approximately $250,000 for a concrete pathway with lighting, drainage improvements, and seating. MDD voted 5-0 to complete the design of Holly Hill Park.
ITEM 4: Budget Amendment for Holly Hill Park- Staff recommends approval of a budget amendment for a walking trail-styled park. MDD voted 5-0 to approve the allotment of $50,000 for the final design completion.
ITEM 5: 2021-22 Capital Projects Plan- Joint discussion for projects indicated on the capital improvement plan for the 2021-2022 fiscal year. Projects qualify for MDD funding. Joint review of each project in order of staff priority with a consensus from both Council and MDD on how staff should proceed with funding. MDD voted 5-0 to approve the amendment.
ITEM 6: Ratification of April Accounts Payable- MDD voted 5-0 to ratify the accounts payable.
