Garbage & Recycling Collection
Republic Services collects all household trash from Shenandoah residences once weekly, on Tuesday. Effective October 1, 2017, the cost of this service is being paid for by the City of Shenandoah. Residents will have free garbage collection.
Residential Trash Collection Service
Trash collection is set up along with new water/sewer accounts. Please complete the Residential Water/Sewer/Trash Collection Agreement (PDF) and return it to city hall with the required deposit. The customer service representative at the front desk will assist you.
Pick up of heavy, bulk trash and green waste is available by Republic Services on Tuesdays. Items must be at the curb for pick up. View a list of items that are acceptable and unacceptable for pickup (PDF). Bulk waste cannot exceed three cubic yards in total volume.
Complete the Recycling Service Agreement Form (PDF) to subscribe to the curbside recycling service. Collection of recyclable materials is on Tuesday of each week. A cart for recycling will be provided upon subscription.
