As Interim City Administrator, Kathie Reyer oversees all operations within the City of Shenandoah. She is responsible for developing and executing organizational and strategic plans, managing major projects, supervising and directing department heads, performing detailed financial analysis, and preparing the annual city budget.

Kathie brings 13 years of public sector experience with 10 at the City of Shenandoah. She has held multiple positions at the City including Assistant Director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau, Public Information Officer, and City Secretary, giving her broad insight into different City functions.
She also has diverse background in private industry, including oil and gas and real estate development. Prior to joining Shenandoah, she worked in media relations for Halliburton. Kathie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Houston and a Master of Arts Degree from Johns Hopkins University.
In her free time, she enjoys serving the special needs community and coaches four different sports for Special Olympics of Texas and serves on the Area Management Team. She is married, has one daughter and lives in The Woodlands.
