As Interim City Administrator, Joseph Peart oversees all operations within the City of Shenandoah. He is responsible for developing and executing organizational and strategic plans, managing major projects, supervising and directing department heads, performing detailed financial analysis, and preparing the annual city budget.

Peart brings over 10 years of experience at the City of Shenandoah to the interim position. He has been a police officer and public works employee and presently serves as the Public Works Director, giving him broad insight into different City functions. Peart was appointed to the position in April 2018.
