Applicants must be proficient in the water and able to recognize and implement the pool rules in order to keep the residents safe at the pool.
The following are the requirements:
Attend in-service sessions
Be a minimum of 16 years of age or older and willing to work at least 25 to 35 hours per week
Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required
Take and pass the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Basic pool maintenance (sweeping, skimming and scrubbing tiles)
Checking pool chemicals hourly
Greeting guests and checking them in properly
Maintaining a clean pool area, including:
Observing the pool and implementing pool rules in a clear and concise manor
